- What does it cost to join?
TECHNETIQ is 100% free to join for both service buyers and service professionals. There are no subscription fees or membership fees for service professionals or any volume minimums or upfront costs of any kind for service buyers. You pay only when you use the TECHNETIQ platform.
Service buyers pay TECHNETIQ a $20 CAD access fee for each work order sent. The total work order value is reserved from the funds in the service buyer's account, and these funds are transferred to the Service Provider after the work order has been completed satisfactorily.
Service Providers pay TECHNETIQ a fee of 10% of the Ticket total.
Cost overruns are handled through the Project Management (PM) module and no percentage of materials is charged to the Service Provider. This minimizes the impact of overruns on a Service Buyer.

A ticket is a job, project, Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation) RFQ posted on our site.

The network of Buyers and Service Providers often overlaps and this allows individual companies to expand their capabilities into other regions and service their clients in a manner they would not normally have available.
- Do I have to submit my resume to become a TECHNETIQ service professional?
The service professional sign-up is completely online. Sign up for a free account by completing your profile on TECHNETIQ.com. If your skill set matches our current/projected needs, we can help you get started quickly. The more information that you add to your profile such as acquired certifications, verified background checks, insurance coverage, and drug tests, the more appealing you are to service buyers who have specific business requirements.
- If I live outside the Canada, can I use TECHNETIQ?
Yes. VARs, solution providers and IT service companies from around the world use TECHNETIQ to find highly skilled contract service professionals anywhere in the North America (including Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
